Membership Types
Associate Member
Applies to medical practitioners, scientists and healthcare professionals based in Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand and other countries, who are not otherwise considered eligible for full membership or medical graduates undergoing advanced training in Infectious Diseases or Microbiology or other individuals with a keen interest in infectious diseases medicine. Associate members do not have voting rights.
Full Member
Applies to medical practitioners, scientists and healthcare professionals based in Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand and other countries who have received appropriate post-graduate training and qualifications in infectious diseases medicine, microbiology or related fields, having regard to his/her contributions to the field of infectious diseases as represented by publications or as described by nominators, to further the aims of the Society. Full members have voting rights.
Retired Member
Retired Australian and NZ/Overseas members pay AUD$50.00 and AUD$45.00 per annum respectively.
Life Members
Life members receive complimentary membership.
